I just wanted to write a quick thank you for another amazing evening! The whole family have not stopped talking about it , and all agreeing that it is impossible to choose a favourite dish as they are all amazing!
This was mine and Sue’s last visit for some time as we are just about to relocate to Devon but I know that the other members of our family will return and are telling the rest of the world what an amazing thing you have going.

A fabulous evening – Tim’s hosting was great, enjoyed the banter and the wines were really good. Joanne the food was superb, the only criticism we can come up with is that you could get away with smaller portions! It really was such a feast. Many thanks.

Jolly Fine Tuck proves that the best English food can not be found in mainstream restaurants or London hipster bars, but hidden in countryside towns in beautiful courtyards. From champagne with beetroot meringues to tiny buckets of delicious chocolate and coffee mousse, all paired with the perfect selection of wines, this was a delightful venting I can only recommend.
Finally Farnham has a restaurant worth its class.

Joanne, Tim and Crew put on a lovely night last Saturday. We started our evening with sparkling wine and wonderfully inventive canapés in the spring garden. The menu was well balanced and we had delicious combinations of food that I have not tried before. The wine flight was superb too, and we finished off with an unusual desert wine. I highly recommend it!

Jolly fine indeed! My girlfriend & I thoroughly enjoyed the evening from the get go. Fancy appetisers and bubbly to start bathed in sunshine on the lawn out front. Followed by several surprising mains in what can only be described as the grand barn. A cheese course, and sweet to boot! Lovely. I don’t usually drink wine but I risked the especially paired wines this time and I’m glad I did. Joanne, Tim, Thank you!.

First visit on Saturday 25th Feb was to an excellent venue, small, intimate, quiet with soft music playing, and we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco. The food cooked by Joanne was exquisite. The flavours complimented each other perfectly. I would not have chosen some of them but on tasting found they worked well. The service was understated and efficient. We had a very entertaining evening.

What a wonderful evening we had on Saturday night, it certainly was jolly fine tuck! Every course was cooked beautifully, the atmosphere was lovely, and everyone serving made the evening an absolute pleasure. It has to be said, Joanne’s cooking is outstanding, to the point that I can’t say a single negative thing about it. If you’re looking for a special night out with genuinely decent fine dining, then you won’t find a better evening than this one!

The ‘Tuck’ team delivered such a friendly and attentive service, the wines served were excellent and expertly chosen to compliment the courses… booking a taxi was a very good idea 😉

The food was excellent and just kept coming, there was a good choice of wines and soft drinks, recommendations were made as to what would be appropriate for each course which was really helpful.
